The "Who Wants To Be A” Planning Series
WOTE Special Ops planning for March-June volatility.
Discussion
Having a bit of fun with planning for how to trade WOTE Special Ops around market volatility in the March-June period, I decided to create a “Who Wants To Be A” write-up series that will step through a potential SPX path and how one could take a $25,000 portfolio and turn it into X number of $$$ trading SPY options. Given what I see ahead I think the pertinent question at hand is: Who wants to be a multi millionaire?
Of course, most serious folks will read this and immediately dismiss it as pie in the sky trade planning that is dangerous to risk management considerations. But I would argue that risk management in game planning is a given, and any serious sports team lays out a game plan designed to WIN on both offense and defense - any “stop loss” measures are agreed upon in advance and practiced at all times in the background.
What is outlined in the section below is a game plan that will evolve in real time based on the path SPX takes and the various signals that emanate from The CASP in response to said path. The game plan is based on a highly, highly imprecise estimate of options pricing that is likely to differ dramatically along the way - sometimes to the good, sometimes to the bad - but on net I believe there is a substantial wealth creation opportunity at hand.
For clean public documentation that all can see I created a $25,000 portfolio game on Investopedia to track performance through June 30.
